Victimization and school: Young people’s experiences of receiving support to keep up with their schoolwork

Victimization early in life can have several serious consequences, one of which concerns young people’s schoolwork. The present study therefore aims to investigate what support people need keep up with their schoolwork, based on needs following victimization. material consists narrative interviews 19 who were the plaintiffs at trials when they 15–19 years old. results show that victims did not want go school due risk meeting perpetrator, and because grades declined physically school, lost motivation study.
